Challenge

Reflecting excellence through design
While Davies is known for its exceptional legal work and elite reputation, the previous brand expression lacked the polish and sophistication to reflect that distinction. The digital experience needed a more modern, intentional visual language — offering a key opportunity to differentiate in a competitive market.

Solution

With refined use of brand elements and a more strategic design system, Davies’ identity evolved to feel sophisticated, sleek, and elegant. A more modern typographic approach, vibrant pops of color, and abstract iconography were introduced to elevate the site’s visual impact. The refreshed brand balances professionalism with humanity and helps Davies stand out in a traditionally conservative space.

Challenge

Telling a more compelling story
Davies’ previous website leaned heavily on dense copy, making it difficult for users to quickly understand what sets the firm apart. The digital experience needed to strengthen its visual storytelling in order to convey the firm’s prestige and impact in a compelling way to both prospective clients and future talent.

Solution

The strategy shifted to less telling and more showing — using visuals, real-world outcomes, and client perspectives to communicate the firm’s excellence more powerfully. Storytelling components, such as testimonials, statistics, infographics, and featured insights, were introduced to highlight Davies’ expertise and credibility across both client- and talent-facing touchpoints.

Challenge

Putting talent front and center
Davies’ most valuable asset is its people, but the previous website didn’t give their exceptional lawyers the presence or prominence to match their caliber. The new experience needed to spotlight the individuals behind the work and reinforce Davies’ team-oriented culture.

Solution

Davies’ people were brought to the forefront with a more dynamic, human-centered approach throughout key areas of the site. The redesigned Our Team section features a randomized gallery of headshots that celebrates the collective strength of the firm. Bio pages were restructured for clarity and impact, while a refreshed Careers section leverages authentic imagery and testimonials to highlight the mentorship, collaboration, and culture that define life at Davies.
